Garden Building

This project consists of a timber frame garden retreat with a green roof and green wall facade, built at the end of a long garden under a large sycamore tree.

We utilised ground screw foundations with precast concrete lintels on recycled lumber pads to avoid damage to the tree and to prevent rot by separating the timber frame from the ground. There is a pumped drainage system connecting the drainage to the main house.
