Lausanne Road 03

Phase two of works to our own house. See 28 Lausanne Road for phase one.

This project provides a solution to problem creating a loft extension where their is inadequate head height below the existing ridge. It also allows us to provide two double bedrooms suitable for teenagers or young adults with ventilation and views over the garden (rather than the busy road to the front).





The second floor is to be remodelled to provided a shower room and circulation to the rear with restricted headroom (2.2m). The corridor opens on to two half width rooms to the front, both of which are double height and connect to separate half width sleeping galleries to the rear via their own alternating tread stairs.
